Hemp is a plant fiber that is biodegradable and highly renewable. It does not need pesticides, herbicides or fungicides and per decare can give 250% more yield than cotton and 600% more than flax. When used to create hemp fabric, it consumes far less energy and water than cotton during processing. The resulting fabric is durable and breathable, while being naturally resistant to mold, bacteria and ultraviolet light. This means it takes care of you while you wear it.

No! The hemp fabric is finely processed and is extremely soft and pleasant to the skin. The fabrics, processed to make shirts, pants, etc. are coarser.
